Dorothy is a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry. She graduated from Edinburgh University, Scotland in 1989 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1993 whilst working at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children. She moved to New Zealand in 1998, and completed a Master’s Degree in Paediatric  Dentistry (with Distinction) from the University of Otago, in 2000. Currently, as well as operating a private specialist practice, she works part-time at the University of Otago as a Senior Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry.
